Legal bases (EEA/UK): contract performance, legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement, security), consent (e.g., marketing), and legal obligations.

3) Sharing & Disclosures

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share only as described:

  • Service providers/processors: hosting, email/SMS, analytics, payment, scheduling, project management, video platforms—bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms
  • Mentors/subcontractors: to deliver Services, under confidentiality
  • Business transfers: merger, acquisition, or asset sale

  • With your consent: e.g., testimonials or case studies
4) Cookies, Analytics & Ads

We use cookies/pixels to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and (where permitted) show contextual or interest-based ads. You can control cookies in your browser. For analytics/ads vendors (e.g., Google Analytics/Ads, Meta), see our Cookie Notice (link) for partners and controls.

“Sale” / “Share” under CA CPRA. We do not sell personal information. Some ad tech may be deemed “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.” California residents can opt out (see Your Privacy Rights).

Do Not Track (DNT). We currently do not respond to DNT signals due to industry standards variability.

5) Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Services, comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax/audit), and resolve disputes. Typical windows:

  • Account & engagement records: up to 6 years after the last activity
  • Session notes/drafts: up to 2 years after engagement end (unless you request deletion sooner)
  • Recordings (if any): per your consent or ≤ 12 months by default
6) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data. No system is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and notify us immediately of suspected breaches.

7) International Transfers

We may store/process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful transfer mechanisms for EEA/UK data.

8) Children’s Privacy

The Site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 provided data, contact us to delete it. For ages 13–17, paid Services require purchase by a parent/guardian or verifiable parental consent where required.

9) Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict/opt-out of certain processing.

How to exercise: Email [privacy@lovare.com] with your name, the email used with Lovare, your country/state, and your request. We will verify your identity (and authority if you’re an agent) and respond within applicable timelines.

A) EEA/UK Residents

You can: access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (including to direct marketing), and port data. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your local Supervisory Authority.

You may have rights to:

  • Know/access and delete personal information
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Opt out of targeted advertising or profiling with legal effects
  • Opt out of “sale”/“sharing” (we do not sell; to opt out of sharing, see Cookie controls or email us)

If we deny a rights request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we’ll provide an appeal path and timing.

  • Email: Click “unsubscribe” in marketing emails or email [privacy@lovare.com].
  • SMS: Text STOP to opt out; HELP for help. Message/data rates may apply.
